Grand Jury: Samuel Ewing, foreman, Michael Steffey, John Snevely, Peter Kinder, Daniel Etter, Martin Woolford, Andw. Porter, William Bonham, William Gleaves, Peter Knave, John Lastley, Adam Harman, John Doak, William Harrell, Samuel Williams, and John Draper, who presented the surveyor of the road from William Rogers to Isaac Shepperd’s by knowledge of Samuel Ewing, William Gleaves, Sr., and William Bonham, yeoman of this county, also recommend to the court that they provide county standards, weights and measures.

Harrill, William
In the case Henry Honaker vs. William Harrill [Harrell], ordered that Andrew Boyd, Francis J. Carter, James Crockett, and Jas. Newell decide that William Harrill convey to Henry Honaker all the land included within the lines of his patent lying northward of a line beginning at two white oaks and a black oak corner to Thomas Alford’s land, thence along a marked line South 75 degrees East __ poles to two white oaks near the meeting house including the houses where Henry Honaker lately resided, now occupied by Reed and Allen merchants, and that William Harrill pay the costs of this suit.

Joseph Honaker appointed overseer of the road from Andrew Boyd’s to James Dillows and Danl. Miller from thence to county line of Montgomery by way of Daniel Millers, and that William Harrell, Joseph Russell, and Andrew Boyd allot the hands under said overseers.

William Ross, assignee of David Harrell, on a military warrant of 200 acres* issued to George Kindall, May 2, 1783, enters 200 acres on New River and the waters thereof, beginning corner to his own land and the bank of Macks Branch, and corner to land of James Jones, and to line of Joseph Russell ‘s land, and corner to Jacob Miller’s land.
