NICHOLAS HARROLD son of WALTER and PRISCILLA eleven years old last February is by court bound an apprentice to serve Capt. Tho. Brereton and his heirs until he attains the age of twenty one years the said Capt. Brereton in Court having in consideration thereof promised to cause the said NICHOLAS to be taught to read and write and give him a heifer of three years old at age of eighteen years...OB 1678-98.
