William Harrell, will signed April 27, 1822, mentioned wife Martha, boys, John and Ruben Harrell, who were to inherit the property at his wife's death. They were to pay other heirs William Harrell, Elizabeth Pierce and Sarah Fultz*. Reuben to have the large family Bible; grandsons Mourow (Monroe?) and Jacob Harrell, sons of Jacob Harrell, deceased; daughters Mary Patrick, Nancy Brown and Rebeckah Axby. Sons John and Ruben to be executors; witnesses Christian May, James Rogers and James Harrell. Presented to court on August 13, 1822, and to lie for further proof; presented again on August 14, 1822, when the will was recorded. On September 10, 1822, John Harrell qualified as executor (pp. 12-13); inventory and appraisal of personal property April 12, 1822* ; recorded August 14, 1822 (p. 14).
